My Journey
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring over 500 startups and training more than 1,500 individuals globally. I’ve collaborated with renowned organizations like the United Nations, International Trade Centre (WTO), United Nations Development Program (Business and Human Rights), British Council, INSEAD, Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (a US State Department initiative), BBQ gGmbh and others. My work has taken me across 17+ countries, where I’ve been immersed in diverse entrepreneurial ecosystems, building lasting relationships and fostering sustainable growth.
As a Charles Wallace Trust Fellow (SOAS, University of London) and an active contributor to global forums, including the INSEAD Doriot Entrepreneurship Conference 2024, UAE, I’ve developed a unique blend of academic rigor and practical expertise. My specialties lie in sustainable business models, open innovation, market development, and stakeholder collaboration.
Entrepreneurial Experience
I’ve walked the entrepreneurial path myself, founding and managing 11 successful ventures across industries like education, sustainable fashion, tourism, fast fashion, management consulting, study abroad, photography, tourism, event management, and agri-trading. This firsthand experience gives me a deep understanding of the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of startups. Whether you’re scaling your business, navigating uncertainty, or preparing for a career pivot, I’m here to help you define your goals, refine your strategies, and maintain focus.
Consulting
Extensive consulting experience across global and local organizations has enabled me to successfully lead initiatives in strategic advisory, capacity building, and program design, with a strong focus on development sector and private sector engagement.
Collaborating with renowned international organizations such as UNDP, INSEAD (XSEED), United Nations International Trade Centre (ITC), GIZ, BBQ gGmbH, and National Incubation Centers, I have driven impact projects that bridge the gap between development goals and private sector growth.
A significant part of my work has involved partnering with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) to develop industry-academia linkages, policy development, B2B collaborations, and capacity-building initiatives. Through these partnerships, I have contributed to creating sustainable economic opportunities and empowering businesses to thrive within evolving global markets.
Corporate
With more than 15 years of corporate leadership, I have held key positions driving business growth, strategic partnerships, and operational excellence. As the Pakistan lead for Nippon Express South Asia & Oceania , I spearheaded business expansion, building relationships with global clients. Previously, as CEO of the British Business Centre ( a company formed by the British Embassy in Pakistan to facilitate UK SMEs) and International Business Council, I facilitated bilateral trade, market entry, and economic collaboration between Pakistan and global markets, including the UK, Turkey, and Central Asia.
My roles at the British Council and Pakistan Software Export Board (Ministry of IT) focused on higher education, skills development, and furthering IT industry growth. Throughout my corporate career, I have led multi-sector initiatives in logistics, education, IT, and economic development, always delivering impactful results and sustainable partnerships.
